The Group Package
AVA Resort Cancún

Children under 2 years old (as of April 18, 2027) stay free.
Room pricing is per person based on two guests sharing a room. Booking a room on your own adds a single-occupancy fee of $1,100 CAD, so we recommend pairing up with another guest. If you'd like a roommate, we can let you know who else is booking single occupancy.

Common Questions
What if I want to book my own flights?+
Yes, you can absolutely do that.
Just contact the travel coordinator by email or phone and let her know you'd like to arrange your own flights. She'll provide a quote for the hotel package without airfare included.
What if I want to book the resort entirely on my own?+
Yes, this is also an option — but there's something important to understand first.
If you book the resort independently, you're not considered part of our wedding group booking. Because of that, the resort charges an additional fee for you to attend the wedding events.
This fee is charged by the resort (not the travel coordinator) and is $100 USD per person, per wedding event. For example, a family of 4 attending 3 events (Welcome Party, Ceremony, and Reception):
- •4 guests × 3 events × $100 USD = $1,200 USD extra
What may initially seem like a cheaper option can end up costing significantly more once these fees are added. If you'd like to verify, we have the contract and are happy to share it.
What if I want to upgrade my flight or room?+
Absolutely — just reach out to the travel coordinator and let her know what you'd like to upgrade. She'll arrange it for you, subject to availability.
What if I have a family of 5?+
You have a few options:
- •Book two separate rooms
- •Upgrade to a larger suite
- •List one child in a relative's room for check-in, then keep them in your room
If you'd like help finding the best option for your family, just reach out.
How does pricing work for young children?+
A child counts as "under 2" only if they are under 2 years old as of April 18, 2027. If your child turns 2 on or before that date, they're priced as an older child.
If you're unsure which tier applies to your child, just reach out and we'll help you confirm.
What if I want to stay for less than 7 days?+
No problem — just contact the travel coordinator for updated quotes based on a shorter stay.
One note: many resorts don't reduce pricing significantly between a 5-day and a 7-day stay, so keep that in mind when comparing options.
Resort Dining
The resort has 18+ dining options, from casual cafés and food markets to upscale specialty restaurants. Tap any name to see it on the resort site.
The resort recommends reserving lunch and dinner through their app at least two weeks before arrival. We're planning a tool here on the site where everyone can share which restaurants they're dining at each day — making it easy to coordinate meals with family and friends. (Coming soon.)
